One is located in Canada but the others are from the USA, Australia and the UK. They do not provide any Canadian content (in spite of their claims). On a year to year basis, we are priced as much as 50% lower than our Canadian competitor. Yes, but we offer a substantial discount on an annual billing period. No, you can upgrade your plan at anytime during the year. Due to the amount of work required in setting up a plan you may not downgrade a subscription. Plans may only be canceled completely on their renewal date Because you must log into your BWD account each time you wish to submit details or make a change, nobody, other than you and your Design Team Member can access it to make alterations. Ultimately, the detail that you do submit is of course publicly displayed on your website BWD utilizes PayPal as our payment processor however you may pay with you credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). You DO NOT have to have a PayPal account, just click on the "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card" link to be taken to a secure payment page. Your credit card information is processed by PayPal's secure online payment system. As a result, our company never has access to and therefore does not store your credit card information within our system. If you choose to upgrade you will be billed the difference between your current plan and your upgrade choice however your anniversary date will remain the same. In effect you will be paying for the upgraded plan as though you had it from the start of your years’ subscription. The cost reflects the work that your Design Team Member will have to undertake to upgrade your site. Yes, you can order your domain name during the BWD sign up process. You can also purchase your domain name from any one of hundreds of resellers however, if you order it through BWD you will never be charged a registration or renewal fee as long as you are one of our subscribers You do. BWD acts as your domain's technical and administrative contact. No, BWD is not an ISP. BWD is a web design and content management company. You will still maintain your current ISP for access to the internet. Our Design Profile editing process is a step by step, fill in the blanks interview. Your Design Team Member (DTM) will use the information you supply to develop your site through an ongoing dialog with you. No, you can work at your own speed. Your DTM will prompt you if you get stuck You may find that you complete and submit the content for your site in an hour where others might take several days. Your DTM will work at your speed and offer suggestions to help you along the way. You're a professional, so is BWD. You certainly can create a website on your own but when you compare the ease of our design process, the hours you will have to invest in designing a site and our available content features we are confident you will choose BWD. Further, the ongoing administration and updating of time sensitive content for your website is always our responsibility, never yours. Your site will be customized to your taste for colours and fonts using your choice of one of BWD's 30 design templates. Certain layout aspects such as page background colour, font style, size and colour can be changed as well that will make your site unique. Under the Website Pro Plan your Design Team Member would solicit your input on how your website and its’ content should appear. You can send your DTM your thoughts on specific topic(s) or content you want to include and they will make every attempt to include it. To update your content under the Website Pro subscription you simply log in to your account and change the existing page whenever you wish. If you need to add a new page simply contact your Design Team Member and they will work through it with you. Under the Lite and Basic Plans, your contact details can be updated as required simply by logging in to your account or sending a message to your Design Team Member. BWD adds templates to our portfolio on a regular basis and for a moderate charge you can change your design template on the anniversary date of your subscription for a fresh new look. QuickTool content is review regularly and updated when there is a change of information such as a change in tax law. Yes. If you have a specific design in mind we will work directly with you to design a completely custom website. Please contact our Pre Sales department to discuss this. Your Design Team Member will work directly with you to make sure you are proud of the final design of your site. We do offer a no questions asked 30 day refund should you change your mind. No. Because of the way our websites are developed using database technology you must be a Website Pro Plan subscriber. We can however take the content from your existing website and incorporate it into a new website under our Website Pro Plan If you use a generic e-mail address such as Sympatico, Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo you don’t have to. You can maintain your current e-mail provider however we recommend that you use your domain's e-mail feature for a more professional appearance. The address

does not associate your e-mail with your website. If you currently use your own domain's e-mail feature it must be switched over to our e-mail servers as part of the domain name transfer process Yes, we will work with your IT representative but, as we do not have direct control we cannot accept responsibility for errors or downtime. No, you would continue to do so as you always have. Your website does not play a role in that process. Yes, from any computer with internet access. No. If you are changing to an e-mail address using a new domain name, you would keep using your old e-mail address until your new one is set up; usually within 24 hours. If you are moving your existing domain to our servers, your e-mail address may experience some interruption however our experience shows that this normally resolves itself within 2 to 24 hours of the transfer. If you were using a generic e-mail address such as Sympatico, Gmail or Yahoo you simply start using it again and notify everyone that you have changed your contact details. Your website’s Contact Us form will be changed to forward mail to your generic address and your domain’s e-mail account will be deleted. As routine, we have instant weekly backups of your website's content to another server. No, you will not be subjected to any malicious activity through BWD’s website or your own site due to rigorous security on our servers. Internet security protection on your own computer(s) is still a necessity these days and is your responsibility.
